Sigrid Anita has a PhD in music composition from TU Dublin Conservatoire, a master’s degree in Music for Film and Visual Media from Pulse College, also known as the iconic Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin and a bachelor’s degree in piano performance and music production from the London Center of Contemporary Music in London.

She has written concert music and soundtracks for various national and international media projects such as music for a Virtual Reality production called Finding Frida (2026) by the Norwegian director Hilde Kjos and RippleX Studios, a concert piece called Eikhogjen (2025) performed by the electronics player Karen Sutherland and baritone Colin Levin at the International Edvard Grieg Society, Norway, Musicscape (2024) a two-day music installation at the ICWTConference in Hong Kong, and more. Her music has been premiered at various concerts, film premieres, festivals, and conferences such as the La Biennale di Venezia, Oslo Creative Tech Week, Nordic music days in Scotland, New Music Dublin festival, IAFT, and United Nation HQ as part of International Women’s Day 2018.
